Activity During WWII

Fought with 3rd Armored Division in the Battle of the Bulge, landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day plus 12. He was a liaison who would go to the front of the lines to contact the platoon leader, then report back to the captain. His company, B, rebuilt bridges after they were destroyed. My father would lead the bridge trucks to the bridges which needed repair.
