Military Police and 36th Division of Infantry; drafted August 1943, discharged February 14, 1946. First in Ayre, Scotland guarding 4,000 prisoners of war. Spent 3 days in English Channel, then to France to guard 20,000 prisoners. Battle of Bulge on D-Day; ended up in 36th Division Infantry.
