Served in Company G, 116th Regiment, 29th Division. First wave on Omaha Beach, D-Day June 6, 1944. Wounded July 1944 in Battle in Saint Lo. Killed by a sniper on September 17, 1944 in the town of Recouvrance the day before a 10,000-man German Garrison surrendered in Brest.
