Coast Artillery Regiment, Fort Screven, Georgia; Quartermaster Corps, Camp Lee, Virginia; appointed Division Transportation and Division Purchasing and Contracting Officer. Received the Bronze Star Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with Central Europe and Rhineland Battle Stars, American Defense Service Medal, Victory Medal WWII, and American Theater of Operations Ribbon. Received Letter of Commendation from Brigadier General Frank A. Keating.
