Assigned to 7th Army as Company Commander, then to 3rd Army as a Battalion Executive Officer. Received orders from Eisenhower's office to report to 15th Infantry as Headquarters Company Commander, 15th Infantry Regiment. Volunteered to serve as Regimental Supply Officer during the last few months in Germany before returning to U.S. for discharge.
