Activity During WWII

Served approximately 4 years and was with the Engineer group that built the ALCAN Highway in Alaska. Assigned to the POW camp at Fort Knox, Kentucky, where he worked with German and Italian prisoners. Served with 4 other soldiers in West Virginia on a war bond drive. They had with them a large tank. Each time they sold a $1,000 bond, they'd fire the guns on the tank.
