Activity During WWII

Twenty years, Honorable Discharge, June 30, 1960. On December 5, 1948 my father and thirty-six other men crashed in a C54 between Kwajalein and Johnston Islands. They floated hanging onto rafts for thirty-nine hours before being rescued. They were rescued by the Navy, USS Rendova CVE-114.
