Served in European Theater of Operation with the 467th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion. Landed at Omaha Beach on D-Day. Also served in European Theater campaigns of Normandy, Northern France, Battle of the Bulge, Ardennes and Germany. Aided in the liberation of Bastogne at the Battle of the Bulge. Destroyed a key pill box below Saint Laurent on D-Day. Played a key role in protecting the Remagen Bridge.
