Activity During WWII

Entered the Army at age 19 and became a Sergeant in the Signal Corps. Served April 10, 1943 to January 10, 1946 as a photographer with the Headquarters of U.S. Army forces in the Pacific, New Guinea, Philippines, and Japan. Assigned to be General MacArthur's private photographer and accompanied the general on many campaigns and historic occasions. Awarded the American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with two Bronze Stars. Deceased July 31, 1975.
