Activity During WWII

Served 1940 to 1945 with the Big Red One, 1st Division, Company A, 16th Infantry. Landed with the first wave at Normandy Beach on D-Day. Saw 443 days of combat including, 8 Major Campaigns and three Beach Heads. He captured first Germans on German Soil and Breached the Siegfried line.
