Activity During WWII

Entered March 23, 1943. Served in Normandy, Northern France and Belgium as a combat infantryman, with the 47th Infantry Regiment, Ninth Infantry Division. Wounded on September 6, 1944 during an assault crossing the Meuse River, in Belgium. Returned to duty in December 1944 and assigned to the Quartermaster Corps. Discharged, Meuse, December 7, 1945.
