Was part of the CINCPAC (Commander in Chief, Pacific Fleet), Coded Personnel and was Yeoman to the Officer in Charge of the Communications Office, Pearl Harbor Headquarters of the Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet and Pacific Ocean areas from July 1943 to September 1945. Received the Commendation Ribbon authorized by Admiral Nimitz for Meritorious Conduct in the Performance of his duties.
