Branch Seal
Activity During WWII

Although he was more than 60 years old throughout WWII, he took an extra job to work at a rather secret defense plant located in a rural area, but called Model City, New York. His wife would pack a lunch for him and a car would pick him up about 10:30 each night to drive him and 3 other men the 30 miles to this work place. He would return about 8:00 am, sleep for about 3 hours and then resume his insurance agents role. He also volunteered as an air-raid drill warden.
