Entered active service April 26, 1945 at Baltimore, Maryland. Supply Non-Commissioned Officer 821. Completed basic training at Camp Rucker, Alabama. Served in Japan, October 17, 1945 to September 12, 1945. Responsible for equipping all members of his unit with everything from weapons and ammunition to personal items and life support equipment. Awarded Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon, WWII Victory Ribbon, Army Occupation Medal (Japan). Honorably discharged October 23, 1946 at Fort Meade, Maryland. Deceased August 21, 1971.
