Served in the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign. Also served in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign in the Philippines with the U.S. Army Training Group. Served with the Railroad Engineers, 'Three Theater Man'. Awarded the Bronze Star and Philippine Liberation Medal.
