Operated with her husband, dairy and general farming operation at Travilah, Maryland. Member of Homemakers and other civic organizations before, during and after WWII. Planted, cultivated and preserved a variety of fruit and vegetables for family and friends to supplement those food items that were very scarce. Became a volunteer driver for American Red Cross. Assisted with Parent Teacher Association Operations of Food Service and tutoring to teachers at elementary school level.
