3rd Army (Patton), 731st Field Artillery Battalion. After maneuvers in England and Wales, landed on Utah Beach from there, travelled through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Czechoslovakia. Fired 14,429 rounds to help relieve the siege of Bastogne. Battalion saw 281 days of action with 155 long toms. Received 5 Battle Stars.
