Activity During WWII

Served February 12, 1943 to October 19, 1945. Landed on Omaha Beach, D-Day plus 56 with the 3rd army, 12th Corps under General Patton. Awarded 5 Battle Stars and a silver star for the Invasion of Normandy, Rhineland, Ardennes, Central Europe and Northern France. Served as a medical aid man with 244th Field Artillery, Battery B. Received the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon, Croix de Guerre from France and the American Campaign Medal.
