He was awarded four Bronze Stars, Three Purple Hearts, the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, One Silver Service Star, One Bronze Service Star, the WWII Victory Medal, the Belgian Fourragere, and the Combat Infantryman Badge.
