Firs Sergeant who served in four Invasions, North Africa, Sicily, Normandy and Belgium. Killed in Aachen, Germany on October 17, 1944. Buried at Henri-Chapelle, Belgium. He was awarded four Bronze Stars, Three Purple Hearts, the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, One Silver Service Star, One Bronze Service Star, the WWII Victory Medal, the Belgian Fourragere, and the Combat Infantryman Badge.
