Activity During WWII

Served aboard the Minesweeper YMS-30 which hit a mine and sunk. Killed January 25, 1944 in the invasion of Anzio, Italy. Received the Purple Heart July 13, 1944, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Medal and the Victory Medal.
