1942, left Ft. Kilmer, New Jersey and arrived at Southampton, England. From Southampton travelled to Le Havre, France. From Le Havre to Hamburg, Germany. While en route to Hamburg, the company was heavily bombed by the German airforce and tanks. From Hamburg, they were to attack the Germans at Auschwitz concentration camp, but the German troops escaped before their arrival. Discharged in 1945.
