Served in the 302nd Depot Repair Sq and the 1st Aircraft Assembly. Their task was to keep 'em flying and they did! At sea en route to the Pacific they received the joyful news that Japan has surrendered. Their ship was the first to arrive at home to a rousing reception in Boston Harbor.
