Anti-sub patrol off the East Coast in B-25 aircraft. Trained B-17 crews at McDill Air Force Base for combat service in Europe. Saw overseas service as a C-54 Hump pilot flying 100 octane fuel to China-Burma-India (over the humps). Air Medal w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster.
