Activity During WWII

Inducted October 1942, Fort Benjamin, Harrison, Indiana. Medical Corpsman, Camp Tyson, Tennessee until December 1943, then to Buna, New Guinea and joined the 116th Medical Battalion, 41st Infantry Division as a Replacement Corpsman. Served in New Guinea, Biak, Mindoro and Mindanao, Philippines and Hiroshima, Japan. Honorably discharged January 27, 1946.
