Activity During WWII

Served with Company C, 182nd Infantry. Inducted into U.S. Army, April 6, 1943; took basic training, Fort Douglas, Utah; Camp Cooke and Fort Ord, California. Sent to the 6th Replacement Depot in the South Pacific; assigned to the 182nd Infantry Regiment, Americal Division, as a rifleman. Killed in action November 30, 1943; buried in Bougainville Military Cemetery.
