Activity During WWII

Served from January 22, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio until September 30, 1945 from Camp Atterbury, Indiana. Assigned to the 112th Engineer Combat Battalion; stationed at Moneymore, Ireland. Boated across the English Channel, arriving to the new location in Devizes, England. Transferred to th 810th Signal Service Battalion stationed in England. Assigned to cover preparations for the Invasion of Europe, including the Red Ball Express. Received the European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars, American Defense Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal and the American Campaign Medal.
