Joined the Army Air Corps at age 17. Stationed at Grafton, Underwood in England. Flew B-17's. Was one of the many frustrated fliers who couldn't get off the ground, due to weather, during the Battle of the Bulge. Flew in the Berlin Air Lift. Stationed in Japan after the war with family.
