Activity During WWII

Served as a tail gunner on B-24. Entered the service on October 29, 1942; received training in Texas, Colorado, and Washington. Arrived in England on June 17, 1944 and served in England and Ireland. Participated in the bombing of Hamburg and other war production centers in Germany. Killed in action over England on December 19, 1944. Buried on December 27, 1944 in a military cemetery in England. Received Gunners Medal, Air Medal with oak leaf cluster, Purple Heart, and Good Conduct Ribbon.
