Activity During WWII

Following boot camp and machinist school, put a Naval tanker in commission and served in the South Pacific for a year. Returned to U.S. and returned to the Pacific, went aboard a destroyer. The 'Tin Can' was the last hit by a Kamikaze plane in the war. Received Purple Heart for wounds received.
