Activity During WWII

Company C, 354th Infantry, 89th Division. Baked cakes, pies and pastries for Headquarters Company at G-22 General Depot in Hereford, England. In charge of ration supply area prior to D-Day invasion at Abergavenny, Wales; Trucking food supplies to pre-invasion troops. Browning Automatic Rifleman (BAR) through France, Belgium and Germany. Supervised German prisoners, cooking and baking at redeployment center, Camp Lucky Strike in St. Valerie, France. Fed 3000 troops daily.
