Started work at Bendix Aeronautics in November 1942; switched to Callite Tungsten in Union City, New Jersey and worked there until war's end. Worked as Junior chemist in both war plants; Bendix was manufacturing propeller planes, Callite Tungsten manufactured parts for jet planes.
