Served in Company H, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Infantry Division. Served in North Africa and the United Kingdom, 1943 to 1944. On June 6, 1944, parachuted and landed near Ste. Mere Eglise, France. Was killed near Etienneville, France on June 21, 1944. Posthumously awarded the Purple Heart.
