Activity During WWII

Served with Company B, 379th Infantry Regiment, 95th Division. Entered Fort Sam, Houston, July 9, 1942. Participated in the Battle of the Bulge under General Patton, 3rd Army. Killed November 14, 1944 in an assault on the 'Seven Dwarfs', seven forts located southwest of Metz, France. A comrade who saw him fall, said death occurred as a result of enemy artillery or mortar fire and described him as a 'good soldier'.
