Aircraft and Engine mechanic maintenance work on ground crew. 19th Troop carrier squad, 7th air force, aerial engineer in crew of C-47 transport, served as crew chief. Served 57 months in Pacific, won 2 campaign stars for service in Tarawa and Funafuti. Air Medal for meritorious achievement while participating in over 200 hours of ferrying and transport flights where hostile contacts were always a possibility. Logged 2000 hours of flying time.
