Staff Sergeant. 1st Tactical Air Communications Squad, 3rd Army. Served in Europe. He and his brother Spencer met in Germany and surprised their brother Leo. They spent three days together. When it came time for Spencer to return to camp, the boys were given passage aboard a C-47 bound for Paris. The pilot told them that in view of the great occasion, they had as much priority as a general and went miles out of this way to drop them off in Salzburg. While there, they visited Berchtesgaden and went on other sight-seeing trips.
