Activity During WWII

Enlisted in May, 1942 and was stationed in England. He was a squad leader of heavy machine gun platoon. He was in the D-Day Invasion and wounded at Normandy. Sent to Netherlands and stepped on mine where he was killed on February 23, 1945. He received the Purple Heart and is buried at Netherlands American Cemetery and memorial.
