Served 4 1/2 years beginning at Casablanca, Morocco during the Invasion in November 1942. With the 11th Evacuation Hospital. Traveled to Tunisia, then to the Invasion of Sicily. Went to Italy and fought on the Casino Front and Anzio Beach. Traveled north of Rome, then were pulled back and made the Southern France Invasion. Went to Lorraine and across the Rhine and Southeast Germany. Saw much of the country at it's worst.
