Activity During WWII

Served with Battery B, 582nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, 67th Coast Artillery for 37 months. He served on the Philippine Islands, supervised and controlled the activities of the Mess personnel and prepared menus. He received the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with the Bronze Service Stars, Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal, American Theater Campaign Ribbon, American Defense Service Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon.
