Joined the Army Air Corps Reserve, December 8, 1942. Called to active duty February 1943. Completed Pilot Training and received Pilots Wings and Commission as 2nd Lieutenant at Napier Field, Dothan, Alabama, March 12, 1944. Served as a Pilot Instructor. Obtained additional training and additional Observer, Flight Engineer Wings. Flew B-17, B-24 and B-29 Aircraft. Separated from service October 1945.
