Activity During WWII

Enlisted in the Army Reserve Corps September 1942. Called to active duty March 1943. Graduated from advanced fighter pilot training January 6, 1944. On August 29, 1944 he graduated from tactical reconnaissance pilot training. Flew a P-31 from the 118th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, based in Chengkung, China. Piloted a P-51 Mustang and a P-40 Warhawk. He was killed in China on March 12, 1945.
