Activity During WWII

Flying Mechanic at Mitchell Field on Long Island, New York. Submarine patrol shot down, crash landing on beach. He was in the hospital for some time. 1942, Cadet Training and Graduated a Navigator at Hondo Field in Texas. August 1943, Bombardier at Roswell, New Mexico; November 1943 to 1944, trained on B-29 aircraft at Great Bend, Kansas. 1944, Based in India and flew the first bombing raid over Tokyo in July 1944. He was lost in the Himalayas Mountains over China on September 2, 1944. Killed in action in WWII.
