Served from March 1943 to December 1945 with 687th Field Artillery Battalion as a machine gunner through 4 campaigns; Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland. Hospitalized at the Battle of the Bulge. Served with the 299th Military Police Company as an investigator and French interpreter.
