Entered November 1944. Broke through Siegfried Line/Roer River German defenses. Mid December 1944, moved overnight to locate and throwback German Armored column which had bypassed Bastogne, Belgium. Mid February 1945, made early AM crossing of Roer River. Seriously wounded 2/28/1944 just prior to Rhine River crossing, still leading C Company, 3rd Platoon in combat.
