Served in medium maintenance and supply. Support unit for the front line. Unit landed at Cherbourg, France. Moved through Belgium, Holland and into Germany where they waited for 1 week on the banks of the Elbe River for the Russians to claim their share of Berlin. Participated in the Battle of the Bulge as a member of the 9th Army. Unit shipped out of 'Camp Lucky Strike', France for home.
