Activity During WWII

Served from December 1918 to September 1943; 339th Squadron, 96th Bomb Group. Was the first of three brothers killed. Co-pilot of B-17, 'Daisey June IV'. Shot down over Germany after completing 25th mission. He and another crew member were instantly killed, the remaining crew bailed out. He is buried in military cemetery in Belgium.
