Activity During WWII

Drafted on January 11, 1943. Trained for Anti-Aircraft Artillery training. Received Training Service School Certificate of Instruction. Attached to the 51st Ordnance Group of the 277th Ordnance Maintenance Company. Unit participated in all five campaigns. Fought in the European Theater. He received the Meritorious Service Unit Wreath, Eastern-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with five bronze stars, Good Conduct Medal. Sent to England, France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. Honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal on December 17, 1945 at Camp Fannin in Tyler, Texas.
