HE SERVED UNDER GEORGE PATTON AND OMAR BRADLEY. HE WAS AWARDED THE THE BRONZE SERVICE STAR FOR THE NORTHERN FRANCE CAMPAIGN. HE ATTENDED INDEPENDENCE JUNIOR COLLEGE AND WAS A GRADUATE OF KANSAS VOCATIONAL SCHOOL. SOMETIMES CALLED REVEREND BECAUSE OF HIS EXPERIENCE WITH THE MINISTRY, HE RETIRED AS A CIVILIAN EMPLOYEE FROM TINKER AIR FORCE BASE SHORTLY PRIOR TO HIS DEATH IN 1972.
