Arrived in Italy April 1944 as a replacement assigned to Company G, 350th Infantry, 88th Division; located at Minturno on the Casino Line. Stayed with this outfit to the end of fighting in Italy. Received Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman Badge, Presidential Unit Citation, 3 Battle Stars. Returned home.
