Activity During WWII

Served as a Combat infantryman with the 36th Division, Company L, 141st Infantry Regiment. Combat began on May 28, 1944 in Anzio, Italy. Subsequently landed in the invasion of Southern France, August 15, 1944. Wounded on August 28, 1944 and returned to combat in October 1944 until May 1945 when war ended. Stayed in Germany with army of occupation until discharged, December 1945.
