Served with the 531st Medical Hospital. Ship Platoon, Medical technician 409 with troop transport. Served in the European Theatre of Operations. Performed duties of male nurse in assisting medical officers. Cleaned and bandaged injuries and wounds, applied splints, administered hypodermic injections, kept patient records and administered medicine. Crossed ocean about 28 times returning the wounded. Honorable discharge on October 30, 1945.
